Dr. Salgado is a Project Supervisor at The University of Portsmouth. His teaching assignments have spanned over eight universities in Europe and the United States. He has a distinguished career in both higher education and industry.

Dr. Salgado also served as Director at The Institute of Technology and Communications, Consultant and Engineer for Cable & Wireless, where he developed technology strategies for some of the world's leading companies, working on international projects in London, USA, Europe and Japan. He has worked with a wide range of clients to enhance organizational performance.

He is devoted to enhancing and expanding students' understanding of business and technology issues. He received several Scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and Education and the Regional Government.

Dr.Salgado enjoys an international reputation as a specialist consultant and has helped world-class industry leading organizations, including Cable & Wireless, S&S and many others improve their business functions.
